The Apollo Space Program

The 19th of July 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the first men landing on the Moon.

 Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin were the crew (= equipaggio) of the Apollo 11 spacecraft (= veicolo spaziale).

Between 1969 and 1972, five more Apollo spacecraft landed on the Moon. 

Even though the crew of the Apollo 13 did not land on the Moon, the spaceflight became very popular and a film was made out of their story.
