Some /any (2)

Ciao ragazzi! Nel post precedente abbiamo visto la differenza tra countable e uncountable nouns. 

Ti ricordi?
Le parole countable, che puoi numerare...
1) possono essere plurali ex. hamburger - hamburgers🍔
2) possono essere precedute dall'articolo "a", "an" ex. a strawberry, an orange🍓🍊
3) possono essere precedute da numeri, dato che le puoi contare e numerare ex. one sandwich, two cookies🍪🍪, three candies 🍬🍬🍬and so on...

Le parole uncountable, non numerabili, invece...
1) hanno solo la forma singolare ex. bread, rice...
2) non sono precedute dall'articolo a, an ex. I love a pasta!


In quest'altro post invece impariamo a parlare di quantità imprecise, indefinite senza specificare o precisare il quantitativo. Some e any si trovano nel tuo libro, p. 59

Riguarda il video, concentrandoti però questa volta dal minuto 1 al 2.

Countable & uncountable nouns

Avete festeggiato recentemente lo "Shrove Tuesday" o "Pancake day"? Come suggerisce il nome stesso la giornata è festeggiata preparando dei pancakes in the UK😋

Today, we're going to learn the difference between countable nouns (= sostantivi  numerabili) and uncountable nouns (= sostantivi non numerabili).
As you can easily understand, countable nouns refer to the things you can count (= contare, numerare) and uncountable nouns refer to the things you can't count (= non puoi contare, non puoi numerare)

🔍Let's take a look at the ingredients you need to make pancakes:
- flour (= farina)
- eggs 
- salt 
- butter
- milk
💭Think: in your opinion what are countable and uncountable nouns? 
Can you count flour? No, you can't!
What about eggs? Yes, you can! You can easily find in your fridge one, two, three... eggs.
