Winton's Children

In December 1938, Nicholas Winton, a 29-year-old man, was on his way to Switzerland for a skiing trip when a friend of his in Prague asked if Winton would consider changing his plans and coming to Czechoslovakia instead. What happened after his arrival would forever change the lives of hundreds of people.

The text "Winton's Children" is connected to "The Holocaust". They both deal with the same historical period.
Both talk about the difficult conditions of Jewish people and several (= diversi) other minority groups during World War 2. They both mention (= menzionano, fanno riferimento)  the concentration camps in which many people were imprisoned and killed.
